Caitlin Sowers

Caitlin Sowers

Caitlin Sowers is a product design engineer who thrives in early-stage chaos. She works closely with founders and engineers to turn ideas into tangible UI — the kind that clarify thinking, align teams, and ship fast.

Her path to AI started at an OpenAI hackathon in 2022, before the launch of ChatGPT. Soon after, she joined Salt AI (backed by a16z), where she helped build a visual development platform for designing and deploying AI workflows — from the ground up. Before Salt, she designed products across startups and agencies, always pushing for speed, business viability, and visual craft.

In 2025, Caitlin moved from Vancouver to Seattle to join Pioneer Square Labs.

When she's not deep in Figma, she's exploring cities for the best matcha, spotting great street style, or debating if she can squeeze a new coat into her carry-on. Occasionally, she hikes volcanoes (reluctantly).
