After two decades in the lumber industry, Matt Meyers knew there had to be a better way than phone calls and post-it notes. Matt came to PSL with a vision of how technology could come to the forest products industry to help everyone — lumber mills, service providers, and lumberyards — do business better. Together with PSL's engineering, design, and customer development teams, Matt iterated on concepts and launched Yesler, a B2B marketplace built by the lumber and building materials industry, for the industry. Matt worked with PSL to recruit CTO Jeff Lubetkin, who brings his decades of marketplace technology experience from Expedia and Zillow. Matt and Jeff are also joined by David Helmers, who previously led Weyerhaeuser's $1.5 billion building materials distribution business.
